Now we know that PRISON was part of his story; had another prophet told him of this beforehand, perhaps, he would have doubted the possibility, for he occupied a prominent role by calling: FORERUNNER OF OUR LORD JESUS.
God knew prison was coming and He allowed it. This is rather strange to many modern-day bread and butter believers. Some even teach that John the Baptist made a mistake to have spoken against the king's adultery. The same people, like Peter, would have advised Christ not to go to the CROSS. THEY ARE NOT READY TO SUFFER ANYTHING FOR HIS SAKE.
They are spoilt, blinded and pleasure crazy. Inasmuch as it is not wise of a Christian to run foolishly into persecution, notwithstanding, when we have to pay the price, we must not deny what we stand for. YOU BETTER BE READY, A GREAT PERSECUTION(TRIBULATION) IS COMING.
Yes, there will be rapture, but before that there is going to be a shaking. Many Christians will be faced with great opposition and torture by the government, hunger, killings, deprivation, betrayals, 24hr surveillance, church restrictions, torture camps, etc are coming soon, so much so that even imprisonment will seem like the easiest option. BE READY.
The rapture will not come before the man of sin is revealed, though God will take His saints before He pours out His VAILS OF JUDGEMENT. Be ready!
Redeeming the times, for the days are evil. This means while others are complaining on rhetorics, we should be found doing the right thing. Not joining people that lack understanding of times and season. This is a time when everything looks ordinary but are heavily manipulated spiritually.
