This is one expression that has so changed. It used to be THE DIFFERENCE between those who have a relationship with God and those who don't.
Today, all kinds of people who don't know God profess to be born again. People whose lifestyles are the exact opposite of Christ now say that they too are born-again! How misleading.
The greatest disservice any man can do to himself is to deceive himself. You have no witness of the Spirit, no fruit of the Spirit, and you are NOT SUBJECT TO THE SPIRIT, yet you claim to be born-again? How? BY THEIR FRUITS WE SHALL KNOW THEM.
There must be a sharp difference between what you used to do and the things you do now. A born-again is first righteous, then kind, peaceful, merciful, plus very polite, WITH PURE THOUGHTS. He thinks of no evil, recent hatred, or jealousy. Not vengeful, not malicious. Avoids gossip and so on. A born-again is a person who has been CHANGED BY CHRIST. Get born again, my friend, JESUS IS SWEET!
