Who is a virgin? Part 2 - The Conclusion

Who is a virgin?

Part 2

Matthew 25:1 KJV
Then shall the kingdom of heaven be likened unto ten virgins, which took their lamps, and went forth to meet the bridegroom.

This is what the Kingdom of God is like.

There is no magic about the Kingdom of God. Jesus gave us examples in His parables and it is left for us all to understand them. There is no other comparison we should expect. Jesus said this is the comparison.

Matthew 25:1 KJV
..ten virgins, which took their lamps, and went forth to meet the bridegroom.

1. Ten virgins simply means 10 born again. 10 Spirit-filled Christians

2. They have lamps. Each one of them. The lamps have oil as we are told in later verses.

3. The goal is to meet the Bridegroom. That is, the return of Jesus

Matthew 25:2 KJV
And five of them were wise, and five were foolish.

5 wise
5 foolish

All 10 are Spirit-filled Christians let's not forget.

So you can be a Christian and foolish or wise.

It's a choice
Matthew 25:3-4 KJV
They that were foolish took their lamps and took no oil with them:
[4] But the wise took oil in their vessels with their lamps.

So we are told why they are called wise and foolish.

The verses above show that they both had oil in their lamps. They were given oil inside the lamp.

John 15:16 KJV
Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain:

Both were called to be fruitful.
The wise have fruits and the foolish do not. The oil in the lamp needs to be supplemented with more oil which is the fruits we are to bring.
Matthew 25:4 KJV
But the wise took oil in their vessels with their lamps.

What is a vessel?

The foolish don't even have vessels.  They hide the talents given to them by Jesus. But the wise have a vessel to store extra.

Matthew 25:5 KJV
While the bridegroom tarried, they all slumbered and slept.

This one is really really deep.

The bridegroom tarried.

Do you know that the early Christians thought Jesus would return in a few years after the ascension?

2 Thessalonians 2:2 NIV
not to become easily unsettled or alarmed by the teaching allegedly from us---whether by a prophecy or by word of mouth or by letter---asserting that the day of the Lord has already come.

The Thessalonians church was even more conscious of His return 2000yrs ago that they said Jesus would come anytime. But here we are in 2021, He hasn't come. If Paul told the Thessalonians back then that it would take 2000yrs they would have argued that he doesn't know what he says. But as the Lord tarried in the first century all of them slept and they're still sleeping till 2021 and will sleep till the Trumpet sounds.

The foolish ones of the Thessalonians slept and didn't take extra oil and the problem is that if Christ returns in this our dispensation they will hear but will not meet Him because as they trim their lamps there won't be oil again. Death will swallow them up. But the wise have a vessel that they took to sleep with them. When they hear the Trumpet they will just pour the oil into it and behold they swallow death in great victory. But the same applies to you and me who are likely to be alive.

The oil you run on daily is not enough and a vessel needs to be with you always. I mean always. There has to be extra.

Those in the grave will be the first to trim their lamps then we which are alive will then trim ours.

1 Thessalonians 4:16-17 NIV
...and the dead in Christ will rise first. [17] After that, we who are still alive and are left will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And so we will be with the Lord forever.

Both dead or alive, it's needed to have this vessel. He who is dead, his vessel remains intact but he who is alive today still has the chance to repent and walk in Holiness.

Those dead cannot repent...

So this text is for you and me today that we may walk in Holiness. Stop copying the ways of the world because of money or other things.

Whatever is appealing to the world, you need to be careful about them. Why do I bring this parable out or why do I love to explain these things? Its because many think the Kingdom of God is difficult. Some say no one knows how it will be on the last day. These are lies of the devil to keep us in ignorance. Jesus has given us the parables of exactly what will happen. And that's what will happen.

The Kingdom of God ain't no magic

Once you understand this you start to get that sense of belonging and want to walk properly towards the Kingdom.
Today bible reading call for self-examination.
Which category did I belong to? Please let's sincerely answer ourselves.
Does the word even interest me anymore?
Am I really preparing for the bride or am I just here minding my own business?
Yes, I know the word. Yes, I go to church, but if the bride comes back would I still have oil in my lamp?

Let's examine ourselves. May the spirit of the living GOD expose all our dark spots in JESUS name

Matthew 25:7 KJV
Then all those virgins arose and trimmed their lamps.

Great emphasis on arose above.

Not just 5 of them rose up to participate in the arrival of King Jesus, it was all. This is the rapture process. Once you believe in Jesus you are qualified to participate.

That's why we say those who preach the new level of grace: "once saved always saved are misled". They lack the understanding of the Word of God. It's this simple.

The job is completed with trimming of Lamps. If anyone fails in this, the rapture process fails.

Matthew 25:6 KJV
And at midnight there was a cry made, Behold, the bridegroom cometh; go ye out to meet him.

Jesus said His return will be like a thief in the night. Meaning it will unexpected. It will just happen. Imagine as you reading these typings it happens...This has nothing to do with night or day per se.

There was a cry at midnight... Who made this cry?

1 Thessalonians 4:16 KJV
For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:

An archangel we told is responsible for this
Matthew 25:8 KJV
And the foolish said unto the wise, Give us of your oil; for our lamps are gone out.

This is the only time as a Christian you are allowed to be a miser.
Matthew 25:9 KJV
But the wise answered, saying, Not so; lest there be not enough for us and you: but go ye rather to them that sell, and buy for yourselves.

Hahahaha wise misers you say? Yes, but they have a good point because the oil of operation is self-sufficient for just one soul. If you divide it then the two of you will not even have enough to complete the rapture process. They say go and buy from them that sell...

Who are those that sell?

Those who preach to you via books, messages, audio etc.

Oh, that foolish person remembers that, ha let me check my phone there is this WhatsApp group that they use to say this thing. Let me check there quickly... But Admin has left the group by then.

I will run to the church or camp to see if the pastors are still there...
They have left too...
May this not be you and I portions in Jesus name. amen
Did you say an Amen?

Matthew 25:10 KJV
And while they went to buy, the bridegroom came; and they that were ready went in with him to the marriage: and the door was shut.

While they went to buy...

Let's look at Paul description as it gels 100% with today's text

1 Thessalonians 4:16 KJV
For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:

There was a voice of readiness by the angel for us to go and meet. Note at this point like how Paul describes, The Lord Himself will descend. Descent is a process of flight and steps. Not sudden. The angelic voice is trigger rapture where bodies are changed via oils. They that were ready

Readiness means you have completed the rapture process and you have the eternal body.

Meaning you have swallowed death in great victory. Hallelujah! Oil has activated the Eternal Engine and Eternal Life has kick-started. Please note this engine runs forever and ever.

Read Revelation 22:1-5 KJV

The above verses fuel this engine once it's activated eternally.  No turning back and no breakdown.
...the door was shut. Once the door is shut it's shut.
Noah shut the door and didn't open after 5months. Nothing else got in. Jesus said His return is similar to that of Noah. Once Noah shut the door the wrath of God began for 40days with heavy rains. Once the Lamb door is shut, the 1000yrs reign with Jesus begins. Only the wise are part of it. The 1000yrs Day of Wrath of God begins like in the days of Noah. Fire everywhere consuming the wicked.

Antichrist and False Prophet will be consumed as also the kingpin Dragon.

Matthew 25:11-12 KJV
Afterwards came also the other virgins, saying, Lord, Lord, open to us. [12] But he answered and said, Verily I say unto you, I know you not.

After the door is shut then came the other virgins. We don't know if they have gotten oil or not but we know that the process of trimming is a one-time thing. No second chance. They said Lord open unto us, but Jesus said I know you not.

Can you imagine that?

Jesus knows them definitely, so we have to take the phrase “I know you not into a proper context”

Jesus here is saying I look at you and find no fruit so you cannot be my disciple. It's impossible. My disciples are known by my fruits and I cannot find any on you. Depart from me, therefore. Perhaps the door is shut already. As we have seen so far the door is shut, it is shut.

Immediately the door is shut the next event is Weeping and Gnashing of teeth.

The Day of the Lord starts immediately and as described by the scriptures it's a day of Wrath on sin. Only those In Christ are secured from this wrath. Even the Antichrist you think is a man or your Obama is a fallacy. The Antichrist Lucifer will be taken with the False Prophet. Both will be thrown into the Lake of Fire during the Day of the Lord.

There is nothing like 3 and half years once Jesus returns. Only the Day of the Lord kicks in. Antichrist is here already and people have the 666 marks already.

Revelation study explains this thing as ABC...
Matthew 25:13 KJV
Watch therefore, for ye know neither the day nor the hour wherein the Son of man cometh.

So all this we said, how can one even try his or her best?

Well, Jesus is complete. In the final verse of this wonderful parable, He tells us the only thing we have to do... Watch

You have oil, you have a lamp, you have a vessel.
Just complete it with watching.
But one may ask like the smart lawyer what does watch mean?

Watch by giving and helping people
Watch by prayer and fasting
Watch by engaging more in things related to the Kingdom
Watch by walking in Holiness.  Because everyone is doing it, doesn't mean it's right.
Watch by looking or expecting Jesus every day.
Finally set your eyes on Jesus.

Luke 9:53 KJV
And they did not receive Him, because His face was as though he would go to Jerusalem.

Jesus was watching out for Jerusalem so they didn't receive Him. This world ways or tv shows will not receive you if you are watching, looking for the return of Jesus.

Hebrews 12:2 KJV
Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.

Watch! Watch!! Watch!!!
It is impossible for you not to have oil if you are watching because you are noticing the level of oil.

But if you are carefree and become liberal you won't know that the lamp is short of oil.
Matthew 24:43-51 KJV

Watch and pray
1 Corinthians 10:12
[12] So let him who seems to himself to be safe go in fear of a fall.
Throughout Jesus parables on the Kingdom, you will notice that He is addressing Christians or people of faith.

His concern is not unbelievers but the People who have accepted Him. Those who have not, are condemned already unless they repent. But those who are saved can lose it. This is why He gave us this parable.

Look at this...

Matthew 24:51 KJV
And shall cut him asunder, and appoint him his portion with the hypocrites: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.

We have hypocrites here and also a servant who is a Christian. Hypocrites have their destination settled.

The servant should not compare himself with liberal hypocrites.
