EPISODE 18
Ben who disguised to be Richard had hacked Ifeoma and her family to death.
He did that the other night and they were hacked when they were sleeping.
Ben as a wraith, vanished like thin air to Ifeoma's home.
He murdered Ifeoma, her husband who just came back from abroad, and her two sons.
He knew Ifeoma, her wife's sister was the architect of everything that occurred.
Then, she and her family met their end that particular night.
Her husband and sons died for what they don't know. Because of his wife's misdeeds, he bites the dust in agony.
A man who had been in Turkey, working hard to at least make money and ensure that his family is okay.
Unfortunately, he made that money and he didn't enjoy it - he died because of what his wife committed.
Indeed, Ben's wraith wasn't happy.
His mother suffered all through the years training him and Chief Olewe in the University.
Ben was very studious and excelled in his academics but Chief Olewe joined cultism in his first year at the University.
He raped so many girls in the University then, I didn't know if raping was his avocation.
Yet, after all, their suffering, she couldn't enjoy the fruit of labor.
Her daughter-in-law, Oluchi was the one who was enjoying her sufferings and sweats.
Now, in the morning, when Oluchi haven't heard the news of Ifeoma and her family's death, Richard came and disclosed the news to me.
My heart started pounding immediately after the news was disclosed.
Then, he pointed fingers at me with his frowned visage and screamed;
"Your end is near".
His voice echoed in the room and it was deafening.
I had a panic attack and he left after screaming.
The ghost of the young lady appeared immediately and I felt a finger prod at my back when my eyes were buried in my hands.
"Don't shed tears again, my daughter?" She said, "You'll be delivered in this malicious situation".
"In the land of the dead, Ben is nobody" she verbalized "he must listen to my orders".
She gave me a bracelet.
It was glittering and I haven't seen such a bracelet before.
She told me to always wear the bracelet and that it'll scare Ben away each time he comes to threaten me.
I nodded positively as she disappeared instantly.
Later in the day, Oluchi had come back from work. She was still in her work attire when she invaded the darkroom with a container of sniper and a torchlight.
When she came in, she pointed the torchlight directly to my eyes and started coming in my direction slowly.
My eyes were gloomy and I couldn't see the one approaching.
Instantly, I raised my hands and the bracelet on my wrist with the torchlight and it was turned off.
"What just happened," Oluchi said with a low tone.
She tried as much as he could to switch it on but it couldn't.
Then, I untied some ropes tied on me and headed to where Oluchi was subjected in perplexity.
Collected the sniper from her hand and emptied the container because I was tired of suffering.
On the spur of the moment, I fell gasping for air.
And I said slowly "Life truly is not worth living"
