EPISODE 19
Oluchi made her way into the darkroom with a torchlight and a container of a sniper. She had just come back from work because she was still in her work attire.
She pointed the torchlight directly to my visage and I was blinded - I couldn't see with my eyes.
Oluchi started coming towards me and I couldn't see her coming but I heard her footsteps.
Instantly, I raised my hand and the bracelet on my wrist contacted the torch and it turned off by itself.
"What just happened," Oluchi said with a low tone.
She tried countlessly to turn it on but she just couldn't. Her face became grim, wry grim. She was scared out of her wits.
Then, I crawled slowly to the spot she was rooted and collected the sniper she held, and gulped it down wholly.
Verily, life is not a better place to inhabit - life was not worth living for me.
I fell to the earth when my stomach started aching.
Then I growled throatily;
"life is truly not worth living"
Oluchi ran out straight away.
My spirit left my body and the scene changed immediately.
I saw myself at the top of a high building.
Below the building was a deep hole. I looked back immediately and my eyes couldn't explicate what I saw.
I espied numerous people who were wearing white gowns and they were coming towards me.
Forthwith, I sighted the young lady who had been appearing before me. She was the one who gave me the bracelet.
"Welcome to our kingdom," The young lady said, "though you're not supposed to be here, welcome - you shall go back soon".
I was flummoxed.
"What is happening," I asked myself.
They approached me, hugging me ceaselessly so that I was sharp as a tack.
"Look in here" a lady with a round face uttered
"It's called the devil's bosom, your biological mother pleaded with our master - you would have been embosomed by the devil.
I was scared stiff "Who is my mother," I asked curiously.
"The lady who has been appearing before you" She answered.
Some thoughts inhabit my mind and I felt uncomfortable.
"Yes, I am your mother," the lady who gave me the bracelet said, " you'll watch how I suffered and died".
My heart was hammering because they were all wraith and their voice was echoing.
"Does it mean that I am now one of them" I queried myself.
"Yes, you're now one of us for now," a voice said from the back " but you'll be sent back to the mortal world".
I started shaking like a leaf.
"How did she know what I had in mind?".
"My daughter, you'll watch a video of my death and what caused it" my biological mother verbalized " Don't be scared for I am with you"
On the nail, she ordered me to follow her and I did as she had instructed looking forward to watching the video of her death and what to do next when I return to the earth.
