Who is a virgin?
According to Matthew 25: 2-14
Who is a wise virgin?
Who is a foolish virgin?
These are questions we need to look at and answer.
The oil here is the holy spirit. Those who would not consider going the full length with the holy spirit would be found wanting when Christ comes.
Holy Spirit is the seal of salvation but let's look at it from the point of grieving.
The ones who had oil are the ones who didn't grieve the Holy Spirit.
The ones without oil are those who grieved the Holy Spirit.
Ephesians 4:30 KJV
And grieve not the holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are sealed unto the day of redemption.
The wise 5 entered the rapture process and the Spirit responded instantly.
The 5 Foolish entered and behold this process failed.
For every Christian who is of the faith, the rapture process will be tried on them because they believe in Jesus. Whether they be dead or alive at the Trumpet call.
The difference however is the OIL which is the Holy Spirit.
If you don't have enough oil in an engine, the engine can't start. Some mechanical engineers will tell you the engine would knock. So we know a virgin in this text is one bought with the precious blood of Jesus.
All 10 of them are virgins because of the Blood.
They all have the indwelling of the Spirit and manifest different gifts of the Holy Spirit.
Isn't this interesting?
But the fruits are important as the gifts. And that's why as a foolish virgin you can think you doing great because you speaking in tongues.
But then a such foolish virgins, their oil is running on shortage.
Then at the end, Jesus will say depart from me, I know you not...
Luke 13:26-27 KJV
Then shall ye begin to say, We have eaten and drunk in thy presence, and thou hast taught in our streets.
[27] But he shall say, I tell you, I know you not whence ye are; depart from me, all ye workers of iniquity.
Those who produce fruits of righteousness don't grieve the Holy Spirit.
Those who produce fruits of the flesh grieve the Holy Spirit.
This teaching is so important for you and me as Christians.
It might not be the motivation you need to make that One million dollars but it's what you need for the rapture process.
Every one of our goals should be subjective to the ultimate goal of Eternal life.
A virgin in my own words is holy and has kept one upright before God. A wise virgin is one prepared and ready for the bridegroom. A foolish virgin is careless, not ready, and without caution. Moreso, not ready for the bridegroom.
Yes, and both of them are virgins. That's why a further distinction was applied.
"Wise vs Foolish"
Everyone who confesses the name of Jesus is a virgin. You are a virgin and I am a virgin. It's the application of the Blood. But the choice to be wise or foolish is left to you and me. No one makes this choice for you. But one thing is clear, the Master Jesus will return and the OIL deposits will be needed to be raptured. If there is a shortage then the Rapture process fails. If there is enough oil, and may this be our portions in Jesus' name, the Rapture is successful. Anyone who believes in Jesus receives a deposit of OIL called the Holy Spirit.
2 Corinthians 1:22 NIV
set his seal of ownership on us, and put his Spirit in our hearts as a deposit, guaranteeing what is to come.
So anyone who is of Jesus is a virgin. The Holy Spirit is the deposit of the rapture to come when death is swallowed up in victory.
