ARE YOU TIRED OF CHURCH AS USUAL?

Are you hungry for more of God? Have you been thinking to yourself, “surely there must be more of God to experience”? In the midst of a packed hall of believers, nicely orchestrated worship, excellent delivery of sermons, there you are feeling cold, disconnected from the God you came to worship.  You have been asking yourself “what is wrong with me”?  Everyone is having a good time and feeling blessed.

This is where I was some years ago. Met the Lord many, many years prior, was now a church officer, was busy serving God but was so hungry for more of what I did not know of ‘at the time’.

One thing led to another and I met God again. I discovered that I was playing church.  I had no real relationship with the Holy Spirit of God.  Empty and wondering how I would get to heaven.

Church is a place which is to prepare you for heaven. Victory on earth is a bonus.  Wherever a shift of this priority is found, there you will also find, Christians who are worldly, process Christ but deny godliness and power of God for a life which completely shuns sin.  Yes indeed we have awesome promises of blessings from God and we are to embrace them wholeheartedly.  However when these become the reason for our faith we downgrade the primary reason why Christ died on the cross – to reconcile us to the Father and to make us like Him, holy, righteous, acceptable into His glorious kingdom. In short, transform sinners into saints.  If this is not the primary focus of your church, then there is a problem.

It’s time to start afresh – The KING IS ON HIS WAY!
